The product developers at the bathroom and sanitation specialist Hansgrohe SE have worked together with the prestigious design office Phoenix Design to create the Ecostat Select – thereby redefining the thermostat. An elegant shape that is flush with the wall replaces the previously highly technical design and offers the convenient added benefit of acting as a shelf for utensils. This revolution in thermostat design is also now available as a special version for public areas. When used in hotels or residential homes, thermostat mixers have many advantages: users can set the temperature to the precise degree they desire without the water have a long initial run time. It also offers a great deal of safety as the desired temperature remains constant even if the water temperature or pressure in the pipes suddenly change. In addition to showering pleasure, this also means savings on water and energy consumption compared with the use of conventional mixers.
