Leading up to the Tour de France, hansgrohe launches an extensive German online and TV campaign with attractive tools and contests
As title sponsor of the BORA-hansgrohe cycling team, the hansgrohe brand is supporting its trade and retail partners by launching its extensive “Showering Like a World Champion” campaign. The focus is on TV spots in Germany and online media. From 24 April to the end of June, leading up to the major sporting event, the Tour de France, TV spots that make viewers want to shower with hansgrohe will be broadcast during prime time on German TV stations ARD, NTV and N24. Social Media and online banners will link customers to the campaign’s German website, www.hansgrohe.de/weltmeister, where the hansgrohe shop finder will direct them to participating retailers in Germany. Attractive sales tools, flyers and contests will provide marketing support. Current UCI1 World Road Cycling Champion, Peter Sagan, who enjoys a strong media presence, is the campaign’s charismatic star and brand ambassador. Contest prizes include VIP-Tickets for the Grand Départ of the Tour de France on 1 July in Dusseldorf, as well as trips to Paris to watch the final stage of the cycling event.
