An Unbeatable Team for 30 Years: the Hansgrohe Group Congratulates Design Partner Phoenix Design

Red Dot: Design Team of the Year 2018

Schiltach, May 2018. This year’s honorary title “Red Dot: Design Team of the Year” goes to the Hansgrohe Group’s longstanding design partner, Phoenix Design with offices in Stuttgart, Munich and Shanghai. Founded in 1987 by Andreas Haug and Tom Schoenherr, the studio has an interdisciplinary and international orientation and has succeeded in winning some 200 Red Dot Design awards, including 13 “Best of the Best” recognitions. The design studio has been working with the Hansgrohe Group from the very beginning – 51 Red Dot awards have since then been bestowed on AXOR and hansgrohe products. This year, the successful partnership won yet another four awards; the hansgrohe Novus range of taps, the hansgrohe Raindance E Showerpipe product family, the hansgrohe C51 sink combination unit and the AXOR Showerpipe 800 all received the coveted Red Dot award, joining the partners’ long list of award-winning products. In the “Bathroom taps and showerheads” and the “Kitchen taps and sinks” categories, the outstanding design of products produced by the bathroom and kitchen specialist from the Black Forest once again succeeded in winning over the jury.
