Schiltach, May 2009. At the Annual General Meeting of the shareholders of Hansgrohe AG, headquartered in Schiltach in the Black Forest, the members of the Supervisory Board were newly elected as their regular term of office came to an end on May 19, 2009. At this meeting, Klaus Grohe – the youngest son of Hans Grohe, the founder and CEO of the internationally successful bathroom fittings and shower manufacturer – was unanimously re-elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Lau Frandsen, Managing Director of the Danish furniture manufacturing company Tvilum-Scanbirk, remains his Deputy. Other members elected to the Supervisory Board at the Annual General Meeting were Thomas Voss, President of Masco Europe, and Graham Balls, Masco Vice President-Controller, European Operations.

As early as April this year, the employees of Hansgrohe AG had re-elected the Chairman of the Company's Works Council, Manfred Hübner, and his Deputy, Stefan Krischak, to the Supervisory Board as employee representatives. The CEO of the bathroom and sanitation specialist located in Germany's Black Forest, Siegfried Gänßlen, congratulated all Supervisory Board members on their re-election on behalf of all his colleagues on the Management Board: "Considering the tricky economic fundamentals, I'm delighted that we've managed to continue our both successful and intensive collaboration with the Supervisory Board. With Klaus Grohe (who knows our Company inside out) at the helm, the shareholder representatives will support us once again in fiscal 2009 in keeping our enterprise on a safe course and in helping us to consolidate our international market position even further."
