The delight in the shared success was evident when Richard Grohe, Deputy Chairman of Hansgrohe AG, and Tom Schönherr (2nd from the left) from Phoenix Design accepted the Silver Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2010.
"And the Silver Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany goes to…the Hansgrohe Raindance Connect EcoSmart showerpipe”Schiltach and Frankfurt/Main, February 15, 2010. With obvious pride Richard Grohe, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Hansgrohe AG, and Tom Schönherr from Phoenix Design accepted Germany’s most important design award ceremoniously presented to them by the Parliamentary State Secretary of the German Federal Ministry for the Economy and Technology Ernst Burgbacher. The Silver Design Award 2010 goes to the Hansgrohe Raindance Connect EcoSmart showerpipe, an outstanding innovative and water saving shower system comprising an overhead and hand shower. The award, presented each year at the “Ambiente” trade fair in Frankfurt/Main, is considered the “prize of prizes”, which makes high demands on the participants: Only products that are nominated by the federal and state economic ministries are entitled for this award.
