Four a winner: Hansgrohe AG at the EXPO ShanghaiSchiltach, April 29, 2010. Hansgrohe AG (www.hansgrohe.com), the international mixer and shower manufacturer based in Schiltach in Germany’s Black Forest, will be participating in no fewer than four German projects running during the world expo in Shanghai from May 1 to October 31. In addition to the German Pavilion and the City of Hamburg representative office (“Hamburg House”), the company will also be a partner in the energy-plus house “GECC German Energy Center & College Shanghai” and in the “House of Innovations”. Under the motto “Better City, Better Life”, the EXPO staged in the Chinese metropolis will show how living conditions in big cities and urban environments can be improved in the future. With its products and technologies, Hansgrohe AG will be highlighting the role played by the efficient and sustainable use of water in this endeavor. “The responsible use of this resource will be gaining in importance worldwide. With our water-saving products and technologies, we can demonstrate how water can be used better, that is, more efficiently and in an energy-saving manner, without any loss of comfort or quality of life,” explains Siegfried Gänßlen, Chairman of the Board of Directors Hansgrohe AG.
